Description
Stage 2 Toddler Training Spoons by Little Weasel help toddlers along on their self-feeding journey. Spoons are easy for toddlers to manipulate and encourage them to take age-appropriate bites of food, all allowing toddlers to continue to grow into confident, independent eaters who love mealtime.
Features include:
- Perfect for small hands. Chunky, textured grip is made for little hands to hold and manipulate. Spoons are intentionally short and sized to help toddlers scoop up their own food and bring it to their mouths
- Age appropriate portions. Spoons are sized to allow toddlers to scoop up an appropriate amount of food, helping to regulate eating and potentially reducing the risk of choking
- Works well as a teether or chew spoon. Soft silicone material is comfortable for sore gums. Bumps on the opposite end of the spoon are designed to work as a teether
- Helps build motor control and hand-eye coordination
- Safer than plastic / blended material alternatives. The spoon is one continuous piece of molded silicone. Compared to alternatives made with plastic pieces, there is a much lower risk that a part of the spoon could break off and pose a choking hazard.
- Easy to clean and dishwasher safe
- BPA free
- Food grade silicone
Our Stage 2 Toddler Spoons are ideal for children starting at about 1 year old. Toddler Spoons can be used safely at a younger age provided babies are eating in a safe, supervised environment and you are following your paediatrician's feeding guidance. However, for younger babies just learning to self-feed at about 4 to 6 months old, we recommend starting with our Stage 1 Baby Pre-Spoons.
